“Flying over New York” is a unique handmade example. This rug, hand-knotted with a high knot density, is available in New Zealand wool and Tencel in different pile heights cut with scissors to give it a three-dimensional design. The "Flying over New York" rug, designed in Italy, consists of approx. 155,000 knots/sqm for a size of 400 x 300 cm. The carpet depicting a night satellite view of New York and specifically its light pollution.
